Boilerplate

Three lengths, written to be quoted as they are.

One line

19 words

Previously is a private TV show tracker for iPhone and iPad, with no account, no ads, and no social feed.

Short

57 words

Previously is a TV show tracker for iPhone and iPad. It keeps every series you watch cued to its next unwatched episode, gathers every upcoming air date into one calendar, and remembers everything you have seen. There is no account to create and no ads, and your watch history stays on your device and your own private iCloud.

Long

132 words

Previously is a private TV show tracker for iPhone and iPad. You search for the shows you watch, and it keeps each one cued to your next unwatched episode, so the home screen always answers the question a tracker exists for: what do I watch next? A second view, Upcoming, gathers every future air date into one chronological calendar, and notifications arrive when a new episode lands.

There is no account to create and no server holding a copy of your viewing history. Everything is stored on the device and syncs between your own devices through your private iCloud. Spoiler protection can hide titles, images, and summaries for episodes you have not watched yet. Show data comes from TheTVDB and TVmaze. Tracking up to two shows is free forever.

What makes it different

  • No account, by construction. There is nothing to sign up for and no user database, so there is no login to lose and no history sitting on someone else’s server. Multi-device sync rides on the viewer’s own iCloud.
  • The free tier is a real one. Two tracked shows, every feature, no time limit. Past two shows the library stays visible and exportable.
  • Spoiler protection. Titles, stills, and summaries stay hidden for episodes you haven’t watched yet, so you can browse ahead safely.
  • It imports your past. Watch history and dates can come in from a TV Time export or from Trakt, which keeps syncing both ways afterward.
  • One person made it. Design, code, and support are all the work of a single independent developer.

Icon and logo

The icon is the app’s test-card bars crossed by the rewind chevrons. The logo pairs those chevrons with the wordmark, in two versions for light and dark backgrounds.

Device renders

The app on an iPhone, as transparent PNGs you can drop onto any background. The angled set is lit for use as a hero image; the straight-on set is the one the site itself uses, so those five are cropped flat at the bottom edge.

Screenshots

Captioned iPhone and iPad shots for straight reuse, plus uncaptioned screen captures if you’d rather build your own layout. Series artwork and episode data in these images come from TheTVDB and TVmaze, whose rights holders retain their rights in that material.

Name, mark, and palette

  • The app is Previously, always capitalized. Its App Store title is “Previously: TV Show Tracker”.
  • The mark is the double rewind chevron, lifted from the “previously on…” recap that gives the app its name.
  • Please don’t recolor, stretch, rotate, or add effects to the icon or the logo, and keep clear space around the logo of at least the height of the chevrons.
  • These assets are for editorial use: reviews, roundups, and articles about the app. Please don’t use them to imply endorsement of another product.

The developer

Previously is made by Francisco Martínez, an independent developer. It is a one-person project: the design, the code, and the replies to support email all come from the same place.

“Every tracker I tried wanted an account, a feed, and a copy of my viewing history. I wanted one that just remembers where I left off, so I built it.”

Francisco Martínez, developer of Previously

Available for interviews and questions at support@getpreviously.com. Review copies aren’t needed, since the app is a free download and two shows stay free forever, but say the word if you want the unlock for testing and it will be arranged.
